Considerations for modifying the SQL Server service account

If you are modifying the SQL Server database engine and SQL Server Agent service accounts, you can modify them in SQL Server Configuration Manager.

Here is an example of modifying the Proxy service account:

Right-click the Proxy service for the default instance and select Properties.
