In a broad sense, metadata not only describes the content, but also describes the entire content system. This leads to the problem of the content metadata architecture.
Content metadata can be divided into the following types:
Content metadata
Data about the content directly.
The metadata at this level is related to the content. Different content types have different metadata.
For example, the metadata structure of video content and text content is different.
The content metadata has a corresponding inheritance relationship based on the classification relationship of the content.
Link metadata
Because there is a relationship between the content metadata, there is a need to record the relationship between the metadata. The data here may be called relational metadata.
Aggregate metadata
In addition to the relationship between metadata, content is also correlated. The data describing the correlation between content expresses the aggregation between content, which is called the aggregation metadata. Aggregated metadata has different systems based on the relationship. For example, by author, by source, and by topic.
Knowledge metadata
The above three types of metadata can be abstracted and summarized to a certain extent. For example, the aggregation type is defined in advance. If the above metadata is regarded as "operation level", the data can be regarded as "knowledge level", so it is now named "Knowledge metadata ".
Metadata
Here meta data is defined as "metadata of metadata". Meta data is also metadata, so it can be described. You can refer to the metadata model concept to understand metadata.
Considering the above metadata, we can establish a relatively complete content metadata architecture (or content metadata architecture ).
