The contoso Emy-level Web sample application demonstrates how to use EF technology to create an ASP. net mvc application. The contoso University in the example is fictitious. The application includes functions such as student registration, course creation, and teacher assignment.

In this tutorial, use C # for demonstration and downloadCodeThe C # and VB implementations are included. This tutorial assumes that you know how to use Visual Studio to Develop ASP. net mvc programs. If not, basic ASP. net mvc tutorial is a good start point. If you used web form development before, you can first look at the Getting Started with the Entity Framework and continuing with the Entity Framework tutorial.
Before you start, make sure that the following software has been installed on your computer:
