Convert command hard drive FAT32 turn NTFS

Click on the lower left corner of the desktop button, select Run, enter cmd

At the command prompt, enter the conversion directive: Convert *:/fs:ntfs, press ENTER, * represents the letter you want to convert. For example, D is convert d:/fs:ntfs, and so on.

If you also have this prompt (very few) in convert, set the current directory to Windows/system32, and then enter the Convert command:

It is recommended that you perform disk scans and Disk Defragmenter first.

If convert cannot lock the drive (for example, the drive is a system volume or the current drive), it will automatically start converting the drive before it is next restarted on the computer. If you cannot restart your computer immediately to complete the conversion, schedule a restart of your computer and set aside the time required for the conversion process.

If there are files on the partition to be converted that are being used by the system, then, at the time of conversion, the translator will ask you if you want to remove the volume (that is, the partition) that you are converting, it is best to choose "No", and then it will ask you to convert the partition at the next computer startup, select "Yes" and restart the machine to complete the conversion

5 This allows you to simply convert the partition format to NTFS. This method is only used for FAT32 to NTFS and cannot convert NTFS to FAT32.
