Purpose: Copying Files in batches
Environment: Windows 7
The commands for copying files in the system are generally copy and Xcopy, where the Copy command, which can only copy files, cannot copy folders .
Format:
Copy source File New file
The file can be preceded with a path, the parameters are written behind the copy, the common parameters are as follows:
/y Indicates whether the renamed file was overwritten during the copy process
/n When copying a file with a 8dot3 name, use the short name whenever possible.
/b means a binary file
This/b parameter can be used to hide files, such as the common file hidden in the image:
copy/b Picture.jpg+test.zip picture_2.jpg
This will re-test.zip files and pictures to form a picture file, and picture_2.jpg can display normally.
Important: You can connect multiple files with a plus sign, but the first file and the resulting file type are the same, that is, the picture format.
Other parameters:
/d allows decryption of target files to be created
/V verifies that the new file is written correctly.
/-y use the prompt to confirm that you want to overwrite the existing destination file.
/z Copies the networked files in a restartable mode.
/L If the source is a symbolic link, copy the link to the destination instead of the actual file that the source link points to.
