Copy the logical volume of a DB2 database

Source: Internet
Author: User

You need to migrate the instance and data of DB2 to datavg (the original "DBA" is deployed to rootvg ...... so here I added quotation marks before and after the DBA)

First, turn off all db2-related processes db2stop force and db2admin stop.

Ps-eaf | grep-I db2 finds that some processes have not been shut down. No matter whether the file system is directly unmounted, device busy reports an error.

Unmount/scomData successful

Create an lv of the same size under datavg, create a file system, and set the new lv to copy chlv-t copy newlv_name

Copy the logical volume. Do it with smit.

Nmon monitoring 40 m per second (Local disk)

After the copy is successful, copy the new lv mount to the original directory and start the database. Everything works normally.
