"Points of View" is the name of a review that compares objects with different visual feelings from different perspectives and viewpoints. I designed a Landscape Map to illustrate this argument, blending all the strong and romantic light to provide a strong sense of contrast to the future of "cold" city. Then I began to map images and move my ideas to paper. I usually start to draw a pencil around the subject and study the positions of each element to get a dynamic composition. After understanding what I want to communicate and implement, and designing various elements, I began to make quick painting.
Quick painting is a very useful way to create background images in an ideal and easy way. This allows us to better understand the light and color of the work, research depth of field and various factors. That's why I want to talk about quick painting in the next step.
Quick painting
Quick painting, as mentioned earlier, is the key to the success of the final work. I started with the study lens (figure. 01 ).

At this stage, I want to speed up my work and only use a simple default PS brush. I was thinking about how to let others realize my thoughts. Then I split the structure into three frames and put one or two figures in. This gave the figure a visual shock, which highlighted its importance. After arranging the positions of various elements to satisfy myself, I continued to paint quickly.
In quick painting, I studied the light, atmosphere, and color of different objects that will constitute the overall work. In this regard, it is important to remember that the foreground elements will become darker and clearer, and those visions will turn together and lose some details. It is helpful to create a quick painting that is as close as possible to the final result, so that when you want to mix the panoramic colors, the work will become very simple. As a common sense, I continue to focus on the rapid drawing of approximate color elements and light, so far as I am satisfied with everything (fig. 02 ).

As you can see in Figure 3, at this stage, I used a more precise brush. To help me understand this step, I have prepared a simple example, a very promising step for creating clouds (figure. 04 ).

Reference
Be careful when looking for appropriate references. People (including me) often tend to select reference photos based on their own beauty contests, rather than making up their work as a whole. This may lead to incorrect selection for reference. The selection direction of elements that are difficult to combine, such as light and color, may be incorrect, or the image of the scene may be inappropriate. And it takes more time to correct these than simply looking for a better reference.
When I started painting scenes, I immediately replaced and banned the scenes. For this scene, I have chosen an independent scene I shot myself. So I cleared the old one and made the following: I chose the channel of the original image to find out which channel has a better contrast with the area to be typed. Then I copied it and used the tone curve to smash and repeat the original comparison. This gives me some gray shadows in different regions. Then, press Ctrl and click the icon of the replication channel to convert the masking options. The remaining, gray, complex areas are replaced with existing tools and mixing and elimination. The next step is to insert a new sky scene and make appropriate color correction,. 05. I carefully diluted the color of the sky scene and cleaned it, especially in the lower part. If the scene in the sky is not corrected, it is likely that the overall composition will leave a person with a high brightness.

By roughly setting colors, lights, and shadows, I have completed this phase of painting, because I know that this will also involve the addition of details and definitions.
City
When defining a city, I quickly determined its size and various buildings to interact with each other. Then I found out the outlines of some famous city buildings, placed them in a certain order to adapt to the global scale, and correct the color to obtain the correct color between various elements. In order to make the sunlight effect, I copied the horizontal layer, greatly increased its contrast, and then adjusted it to orange. In Screen mode, I later integrated it with the original one, standardized its intensity and density, and then I used layers to hide the shadow area.
As for the central building, I joined several skyscrapers and made them a huge palace together to render the details. To achieve this goal, I also referred to some texture maps and applied them to drawn parts. These painting elements make the global display more complete, it also makes drawn parts more realistic after the landscape size is redefined. (Figure. 06)

Details
It took a lot of time to make the final stage. In this process, I added the details of the scenes. The final modification was made, and the level layer was added with details such as small lights, fog, haze, space ship, And seagull. I used the bin and lantern tools in 3DS MAX to create a ship, because using 3D to make this is easier than referring to it. As the last step, I added FOG (figure. 07 ). You can simply filter the "Cloud" in PS and eliminate the black area.

For this production, I always want a proper number of steps, neither too much nor too little. In my final car inspection work, I "overturn" the horizontal layer, adding the sun's rays and the outline of a skyscraper with a little pixel deviation (especially in the shadow part ).
Then I checked various elements in the scenario to check whether all shadows are matched, whether the depth of field is intact, and whether details need to be added.
