Create a database using Transact-SQL in SQL Server 2000

Create a database. The user must be sysadmin or dbcreator.

1. The simplest syntax is create database USER2.

2. create database USER8

FILENAME = 'C: \ mssql7 \ data \ User8dat. mdf ',
SIZE = 10,
MAXSIZE = 50,
FILEGROWTH = 5)
LOG ON
(NAME = 'user8 _ log ',

SIZE = 2 MB,
MAXSIZE = 25 MB,
FILEGROWTH = 5 MB)

Parameter description:
Name: Specifies the database Name.
FileName: Specifies the physical path of the database file.
Size: Specifies the initial Size of the database.
MaxSize: specifies the maximum space of a database.
FileGrowth: Specifies the size of database Growth
