Click "Next" to show the following figure 4
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
After you read the agreement carefully, tick the "Agree" button below, and then the next step becomes operational. Figure 5 Below
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
Click "Next" button to continue the installation, will appear select the installation Partition screen, as shown below 6
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
The above illustration selects the installation partition, which has advanced partitioning mode and general mode. Install Linux system usually use a system partition and a swap area (or several partitions), here I intend to use the second partition (d disk is hda5) to do the system partition, with a third partition (E disk that is Hda6) to do the swap area.
Here, temporarily do not use the Advanced partition mode, click the mouse to select the second partition (d disk is hda5) to install, as shown in Figure 7 below.
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
When you select the second partition (size 6502MB), the next step button appears as shown in Figure 8 below.
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
The above image is to delete "/dev/hda5" (d) Warning, click the "Delete" button appears as shown in Figure 9 below (when the partition has not actually been deleted and formatted operation, after the Installation wizard is ready to start copying files before the actual execution)
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
The above illustration shows that the installation Wizard is over, please carefully confirm the changes listed, otherwise click the "Next" button and there is no room to turn back.
In the above picture I saw the selected partition originally 6502MB, can be shown here as 5985MB, estimated 517MB to go out to build another exchange area; it is different from what I originally arranged, so I can see that I am not in the right place to use the normal partitioning mode.
The normal select partitioning mode is only suitable for a predetermined swap area on the hard disk and has been formatted as a user of the swap file system.
Click on the "Back" button to return and appear as shown in Figure 10 below.
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
As can be seen from the figure above, the installer will change my original D disk 6502MB to two disks: D disk 5985MB and F disk 517MB. The installer defaults to allocating approximately 8% of the partition space as a swap area.
Then click on the "Back" button to return to prepare to repartition. Show Figure 11 below
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>

Re-enter the Select Partition window, this time before "Advanced partition mode" and click D (/HDA5) to make it selected, as shown in Figure 13 below.
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
Clicking the "Next" button appears as shown in Figure 14 below.
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
The above illustration lists the details of each partition, where the/DEV/HDA5 partition (d disk) has been marked as a partition that will be formatted as a ext3 file system for installing the system. You also need to specify a 200MB--600MB partition for the swap partition. I want to use/DEV/HDA6 partition (e disk) to do the swap area, so here to edit the/DEV/HDA6 partition (e disk).
Click the/DEV/HDA6 partition (e disk) to make it selected, as shown in Figure 15
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>

screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
I use this section not to mount, so the "mount point" column does not have to be in the tube. Select Format partition, and then click the triangle selection arrow on the right side of the "format partition into" column, and there is a "swap" file system option in the pop-up selection menu, as shown in Figure 17 (swap area must be swap file system)
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
Click "Swap" to select it and display the following figure 18
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>

screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
As shown in the figure above, the ext3 and swap file systems are available and will be formatted and the partition selection operation completed. There is also an option to "not install the bootstrapper on the hard disk master boot record." It is recommended that you do not select it and install the bootstrapper directly on the hard disk master boot record, and that ghost recovery of the system when Windows is installed on the hard drive will not affect the boot of the Linux system.
Clicking the Next button appears as shown in Figure 20 below.
screen.width*0.7) {this.resized=true; this.width=screen.width*0.7 this.alt= ' Click here to open new Window\nctrl+mouse Wheel to zoom in/out ';} ' Border=0>
