Create a boot disk for an image larger than 4 GB by using ultraiso, and use ultraiso4gb

The ultraiso software is very convenient for boot disks. It is generally used for linux, windows, and Shenma. However, ubuntu generally only has 1-2 GB, windows desktop edition is usually about 3 GB, so you don't have to consider this issue.

However, when you want to create a Windows server boot disk, you will see a 5 GB image. The product of speed and time is only one point G, after the instance is restarted, the system prompts install. wim files are damaged or do not exist. It takes a long time for you to finally think that ultraiso will automatically format your disk into the FAT32 format when creating the boot disk, the FAT32 format supports a maximum of 4 GB files or less. However, install. wim is just a little more than (2012r2)/× record the deadline for writing the manuscript ×/

How?

It is generally known that the current hard drive of a computer usually uses the NTFS (windows) format, which seems to support a large file. Please refer to Baidu encyclopedia For details, so we decided to use this format, the setting item is not found in ultraiso, so the solution is violent.

1. First, write down the directory of the large file, and then start the disk again in a normal way.

2. Then, the system will find that the occupied space is very small and normal. Then, run the command prompt (cmd) with the Administrator permission and enter

Convert [enter the drive letter of your USB flash drive here]:/fs: ntfs/x for example: convert f:/fs: ntfs/x. If necessary, copy the preceding command to avoid space loss.
Next, you can press enter several times to list the space required for conversion. The press enter appears twice...
It may also take a long time. Let's take a look at the computer and luck ..

3. Open the computer (xp calls my computer ...)

4. Right-click your USB flash drive, properties, and view the format. NTFS is displayed.

5. then find the large file (install. wim) and then from the image file (xxx. iso) copy the file to overwrite the file in the corresponding directory of the USB flash drive (this file exists but becomes smaller)

Ps: You are too lazy to find a file to replace all the files... It is not very safe, but it is worth a try.
