Install Windows Embedded compact 7 pctp
After downloading and decompressing all the package shards, you will get a folder named "windows_embedded_compact7_gtp_2010" with an "eval" directory. "Windows Embedded compact 7.exe" in the directory is the installation file of wec7 pctp. Double-click to install it.

After a long installation process, the complete page is displayed. Click Finish.

After the installation is complete, start Visual Studio 2008 and you will see that pb2008 (pb7 in Microsoft documentation) has already appeared in the component list.

We can complete wec7 system creation, modification, compilation and debugging in vs2008. Similarly, we can use vs2008 for wec7 application development.
