In step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the formula button (not the Formula Drop-down button) in the symbol group, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, you will create a blank formula frame in the Word2010 document, and then enter the formula content in the keyboard or the symbol group in the formula Tools/design ribbon, as shown in Figure 2.

Tip: In the symbol group in the formula Tools/design Ribbon, the basic math symbol is displayed by default. In addition, WORD2010 provides "Greek alphabet", "Letter class symbol", "operator", "Arrow", "Negation operator", "handwriting", "geometry" and many other symbols for users to use. Find these symbols in the following ways:
Step 1th, click the other button in the symbols Group of the formula Tools/design ribbon, as shown in Figure 3.

Step 2nd, open the Symbol panel, and click the Drop-down triangle button at the top to see the category of symbols provided by Word2010. Select the category you want to display in the symbol panel, as shown in Figure 4.
