Create a new blank document in Word 2010
By default, the WORD2010 program automatically creates a new blank document while it is open. If you need to create a new blank document again after the user completes text entry and editing using the blank document, you can follow these steps:
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window, and click the file → new button, as shown in Figure 2009120402.

Step 2nd, in the Open new panel, select the type of document you want to create, such as blank documents, blog posts, calligraphy copybook, and more. When you have finished selecting, click the Create button, as shown in Figure 2009120403.

Tip: There are three types of Word templates in Word2010:. Dot templates (compatible word97-2003 documents),. DOTX (Macros-not-enabled templates), and. DOTM (Macros-enabled templates). The blank document created in the New Document dialog box uses the Word2010 default template Normal.dotm.
