Create a new Linux system virtual machine using VMware

We divide it into two steps, 1: Create a new virtual machine; 2: Install the red Hat enterprse Linux 6 operating system

1. First we create a new virtual machine, do not install the operating system, and then install the Linux system later.

The new virtual machine steps are as follows:

Open the VMware software, click on the "file (F)" –> in the menu bar and select "New Virtual Machine (N)", such as 1, (or directly click on the "+" sign in the image)

Select New after the appearance of the following interface, 2, here we choose Custom, and then click Next.

Figure 4, select "Install operating system later" here, and then next.

Figure 5, select the Linux system, version select "Red Hat enterprse Linux 6 64-bit".

Figure 6, a name for the virtual machine, recommended default, and then select a virtual machine installation location.

Figure 8, select the memory of the virtual machine and the same default.

Figure 9, select "Create a new Vdisk" here.

Figure 10, the disk size is selected as needed or by default, select "Split disk into multiple files" below.

Figure 11, select "Use network address translation".

Figure 13, review the previous configuration, if there is an error before returning to the previous steps to modify, if no error click "Done".

14, here the virtual machine has been created, the left side of the virtual machine has been created (the above virtual machine for me to create a good, selected for this created), then we do Linux system installation.

2.Linux system Installation Steps (installed here using the CD image file ISO file).
