Quick Styles are collections of styles that are created to work with certain styles. Although the Quick Style set may contain all the styles needed to generate a document, you sometimes need to add a new style. You can also create other styles, such as a new table or a list style.
Select the text you want to create as the new style.
For example, you might want the word business to always appear in the document in bold and red style.
On the Mini toolbar that appears above the selection, click Bold and red to format the text.
Right-click the selection, point to Style, and then click Save Selection as new Quick Style.
Provide a name for the style (for example, business), and then click OK.
The business style you create and the name you provide for it are displayed in the Quick Styles gallery, and you can use it as long as you want the text to be bold and red.
