Operation Steps

If the macro is valid for all workbook documents, we recommend that you add a command button to the Excel toolbar to invoke the macro.

Execute the tools → customize command to open the Customize dialog box.

Switch to the Commands tab, select Macros under Categories, and then drag the custom button option in the command area on the right to the appropriate location in the toolbar.

Click the Change Selection button, and in the shortcut menu that pops up, modify the characters in the right square box to the character for the button (such as delete) and select the Always use Text option.

Right-click the button that you added, and then, on the shortcut menu that pops up, select the Specify Macros option, open the Specify Macros dialog box, select the macro you want to call, and make sure you return.

Close the Customize dialog box and press the button on the toolbar to test it.
