① Here we will use "development tools", and this feature is not generally shown, so we need to make some settings to the "development tool" out. Click Office Button--PowerPoint options.
② Select the Standard tab in the PowerPoint Options panel, and tick the "Show Development Tools tab in the Ribbon" box in the right-hand section of the PowerPoint Preferences tab.
③ in the Features tab, click Developer-Text box (ABC button) to pull the appropriate text box out of the PPT blank page.
④ Select Properties in the development tools panel to set the properties of the text box. The following three property values must be set, and other properties can be set according to individual needs

Multiline:ture (allows multiple lines of text to be entered)

⑤ Right-click the text box, "text Box Object"--"edit" to copy and paste the article you want to show into the text box. (scroll bars do not appear when text content is not outside the text box)
⑥ When you finish editing the text, the preview will look like the following, and you can drag the scroll bar to see the full article. As shown in the figure:
