Create and publish Datazen charts and create datazen charts

Datazen is a full-platform data presentation solution for mobile terminals acquired by Microsoft. This article describes how to create and publish charts.

 

As described above, Datazen charts are created and released through Publisher, a free application under the Windows 8 app store. That is to say, to create and publish charts, you need a Win8 computer or a Surface.

Click the Win8 Start Screen and click the App Store to search for Datazen.

There are two search results of Datazen, ignoring and despising the other one. The Publisher below is the application for creating and Publishing charts mentioned in this article. The first result is for viewing charts.

Install Publisher.

After the installation is complete, enter the application. The application prompts you to enter the server information. By default, the system will connect to the official example of Datazen. You can click here to try it out. Here I deploy the Datazen server directly on Azure.

Publisher is designed for the standard touch interface, and the mouse can also be used. Right-click the screen and you can see the following functional buttons.

Click the Create button to go to The Create new chart page. Select create a chart on the left.

You can see that the design interface is designed based on a grid. on the desktop, it is divided into 10-5 grids. Charts dragged from the Left can be arranged based on the layout and size of these grids.

On the left is the chart type supported by the system. You can switch to the data view on the top and preview the chart.

Drag the Chart to the Chart on the left.

Drag its border to define its size.

Click Data View to switch to Data View. The previously configured Data View is displayed. The defined charts are displayed on the left, and the corresponding information of these charts is configured on the right, it mainly refers to the columns mapped to the data view by certain feature attributes in the Chart.

After the desktop view is designed, click the platform switch button in the upper-right corner of the screen to switch to the Tablet and mobile phone views, and click the mobile phone view.

You can see the designer for the mobile phone interface. On the left side is the Chart defined on the desktop, and on the right side is the design interface. Unlike the desktop version, the mobile version is a 4-to-6 mesh, because the space is small, therefore, you can selectively define the mobile phone view.

Although relatively compact (1520 and Iphone 5 plus and Note * can be ignored), it is consistent with the desktop view.

Click the preview button to view the preview effect of the desktop version.

And the preview effect on the mobile phone.

Return to the design view, right-click the screen, and click Publish to Server to Publish the chart to the Server.

Enter the chart information. Create a group for the chart for the first time.

After the release is successful, open another app Viewer in the App Store and configure the same connection information to view the published chart.

Next, let's take a look at the preview effects of each platform.

The first family photo used all the devices on hand. The problem was that the Android devices on hand were from China Bank, so they could not download the corresponding applications, android app packages cannot be downloaded online.

However, you can use a browser on Android to view the HTML5 version. For example, you can see that even the WordPress supports HTML5, which is the charm of HTML5.
