What we want to achieve today is to make a transparent bubble. Look at the effect. It looks pretty, isn't it? If you are satisfied, Let's start now!
1. Select an image you like. You can select any content. Use Photoshop to open the backup. The common bubble is a positive circle, so we need to use a square image as the background. Select the cropping tool and press shift to make sure that the cropping box is square. Select an area in the image and then crop it. (Figure 01)

2. Because the selected image is relatively large, we need to reduce the image. However, the background layer is locked, so you need to change the attributes of the background. Double-click the background layer and change the background layer to a layer named original. Use the image size command to change the image size to 600x600 pixels. Copy Original to hide the original layer. Of course, you can also use a smaller image, but if you want to create a larger bubble, the smaller image is not suitable.
3. Select the original copy layer and use the oval box selection tool to select a positive circle, which is slightly smaller than the image. The size of the selection area is the size of the bubble and the selection area is moved to the center of the screen. Reselect the selected image and then delete the selected image. (Figure 02)

4. Copy the layer to become Original Copy 2. Keep selection, apply distortion> spherical filter, set the number to 50%, J car! 0. TRL + T: scale down the image to 85% of the current size. deselect this option. (Figure 03)

Apply the distortion> polar filter in the original copy 3 of the layer to set the options to the flat coordinate to the polar coordinate. Lock the transparent pixels in the layer and execute the Gaussian Blur command with a radius of 1.0 pixels. 6. select original Copy 2, copy to original copy 4, hide original Copy 2, move copy 4 down a layer, lock the transparent pixels in the layer, blur the height, and the radius is 1.0 pixels; select original Copy 2 to reduce the opacity of the layer to 50%. Copy original Copy 4 and copy 3 to link to it. Then select original copy 3 and merge the link layers, rename the original copy 3 to color1. Select original copy, create a new layer on it, name it bubble, hide the color1 layer above, load the opaque selection area of the original copy, and fill it with black in the bubble selection area. Keep the selection area, add a layer mask, select a layer thumbnail, return to the RGB channel, load the opaque area of the bubble layer, and use the change selection command to reduce the selection area to the current 75%; select the mask channel, open the fill dialog box, fill the selection area with gray, the opacity is 100%, deselect the selection, and return to the RGB channel. 06, as shown in the layer panel 07.

8. Copy the bubble layer, discard the layer mask of the bubble copy, move the bubble copy down two layers, and place it on the original layer (hidden. Return to the mask channel in the bubble layer, load the current channel range, shrink the selection area by 5 pixels, blur the Gaussian, and set the radius to 5 pixels. deselect the selection and return to the RGB channel. Move the bubble layer to the top layer, and the image looks no different from the previous step.
9. Select the bubble copy of the layer, copy it, and move bubble Copy 2 to the top layer. Lock the transparent pixels of the layer to ensure that it is not moved. Shift, use the oval box selection tool to select a positive circle in the upper right corner of the image, and then add a smaller circle to the selection area. Create a new layer named highlights, set the foreground color to white, and the background color to black. Fill the selected area in white and deselect the selection. Copy the current layer, flip the copy layer horizontally, and then flip vertically to the bottom left of the image. Select bubble Copy 2, link the highlights layer and highlights copy layer, and merge the link layers. (Figure 08)

Copy the current layer, change the Mixed Mode of bubble copy 3 to the screen, and perform radial blur. The number is 25, and the other remains unchanged. Copy the current layer again, perform radial paste for the third time. The number is 50. Link bubble copy 4 and copy 3 to copy 2 and splice the link layers. The highlight of the bubble is complete. 11. load the opaque selection area of bubble Copy 2, create a new layer, name it falloff, set the foreground color to a light beige RGB (255,255,247), use it to draw a selection area in the new layer, the width is 3 pixels, the location is inside. Apply Gaussian blur to the selected area with a radius of 5 pixels. Then select, delete, and re-select. Link the falloff layer to the bubble copy Layer 2, select the bubble copy Layer 2, and merge the link layers. Rename the bubble copy Layer 2 to highlights, and change the layer blending mode to the screen. Copy the highlights layer, change the hybrid mode of the copy layer to fade, and reduce the opacity to 65%. Open the color1 layer, select the bubble layer, and lock the transparent pixels of the layer, reduce the opacity of the current layer to 60% to keep the selection area. (Figure 10)

12. Create a new layer named film, move it to the top layer, and fill the selection area with 100% opaque gray. Set the background color to black, and keep the foreground color unchanged. Execute the stratified cloud filter. Due to the randomness of the layered cloud, you may need to test until the effect is satisfactory. Here, I used 6 layers of clouds (figure 11 ).

Apply the image in the artistic effect filter, set the size of the paint brush to 8, sharpen to 7, and the paint type to width sharpen. Then use the texture> particle filter to set the intensity to 40, the contrast is 50, the particle type is expanded, the amount is 12.5%, Gaussian distribution is added, Gaussian Blur is 1.3 pixels, and polar filter is used to convert the plane coordinates to polar coordinates; use the stylized filter to illuminate the edge, set the edge width to 5, the brightness to 8, and the smoothness to 5; Apply Gaussian blur again, and the radius is still 1.3 pixels. Next, use the command to add colors several times, which are Gaussian distributions with numbers of 4.44%, 1.25%, 0.25%, and 0.25%, respectively. The result is 12. In this step, the filter is intensive and requires patience to continuously test the effects of various values. (Figure 12)

13. Copy the film layer, hide the film copy layer, return to the film layer, change its layer blending mode to screen, and reduce the opacity to 55% (figure 13 ).

16. The internal structure of the bubble has been completed. The following is to add a color for the bubble. However, before that, there was another step to add credibility to its appearance. We do not want to be so clear, but do not reduce the opacity of the layer, so we can fill the layer to achieve the goal. Create a new fill layer on the film copy, and select a gradient for the fill content. In the pop-up gradient fill dialog box, set the gradient to a linear gradient from the original scenery to the transparent, with the angle of 90 degrees, scaling 100%, select align with the layer. Then, reduce the opacity of the layer to 35% and change the name of the layer to bottom.
Lighting. The image edge will appear in a complex edge and will appear in the next few steps, but don't worry. In the subsequent steps, we will try to eliminate it (Figure 16)

17. Use the reselect command to obtain the selection area (after a gradient fill layer is created, the selection area will be automatically canceled ).
Create a gradient fill layer on the lighting layer and name it color. Set the gradient to a radial gradient from transparent to custom color. Here, set the custom color to blue, RGB (0,114,182), and select to align with the layer. Set the blending mode to color and opacity to 20%. This layer determines the bubble color. You can use any color. (Figure 17)

18. Now let's check the image. The particles in the bubble are larger and disrupt the screen. Therefore, select the film layer to reduce the opacity to 15%. Select the film copy layer to reduce the opacity of the layer to 55% (Figure 18 ); the highlight area is too bright. To reduce the brightness, select the highlights copy layer, lock the transparent area of the layer, perform Gaussian blur, set the Blur radius to 10 pixels, select the highlights layer, and lock the transparency of the layer, perform Gaussian blur, and The Blur radius is also 10 pixels. 19. Next we will make reflection around the bubble. In the highlights layer, load the opaque area, compress 15 pixels, and sharpen the selection area. The radius is 10 pixels. reselect and contract the selection area again. The scale is 7 pixels, and the selection area is white; select the highlights copy layer, and fill the selection area in white to cancel the selection. (Figure 20)

20. Now, make a copy of your image before splicing it. Then, select the bubble layer to link all layers except the hidden original layer (including the bubble layer, there should be a total of 11 layers, from the top, respectively noise, color, bottom

At this point, the annoying complex edges on the image edge have finally disappeared. If you want to add it to the first image, open the background image, move the bubble over, and reduce the opacity of the layer to 95%. We have a relatively large bubble, so that you can reduce the proportion and create bubbles of various sizes (Figure bubble ). This is a local image, and you can see the Sawtooth edges. However, this problem does not exist after the image is scaled down (Figure 22 ). At the same time, you may think that the effect is not obvious and unnecessary in the production process, especially after the reduction, so you can weigh the image fineness and production speed, make the right choice for you.
