CSV file how to open

CSV (comma Separated values) is a plain text file used to store data, usually a file format for storing spreadsheets or data. Here are some common ways to open CSV files.

Method One

Without any software, use WordPad on your computer to open the CSV file.

On the computer desktop, click "Start" on the lower left

Click on all Programs--Accessories--WordPad

In the pop-up WordPad, the mouse clicks on the file--open

Select all documents under the file type, select the CSV file you want to open, and click Open.

The results of the open, as shown in the following figure.

Method Two

You can also open a CSV file with Office Excel 2007 software. If Microsoft Excel is installed on your computer, the. csv file is opened by default by Excel

Open the Office Excel 2007 software on your desktop and click the Office Button.

Select the text file under the file type and click on the CSV file--open.

You will then jump out of the File Import Wizard for a total of 3 steps. If there is no special case directly Click Next step I, until completed.

Method Three
