Curb Linux spread Microsoft launches MCM to fight high-end mainframe

To curb the further development of Linux in the enterprise's large-scale host market, Microsoft recently launched a strategic project called Microsoft's mission critical (MCM. Although this strategy is an internal project, it is likely to evolve into a new Microsoft plan next year.

According to Microsoft's server department product manager Paul Corriveau, the MCM project will eventually replace Microsoft's current "technical support and maintenance" solution in the enterprise data center market, microsoft's data center implementation partners will also be affected. Corriveau also said that Microsoft hopes to introduce Windows into the high-end market through this action. In fact, Windows has made achievements in the high-end field.

According to the MCM strategy, Microsoft will re-combine technical support, maintenance and marketing resources to better meet the needs of enterprise data center management. According to Corriveau, this strategy will focus on enterprise resource management (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and intelligent business management.

In addition to continuing to cooperate with system integrators such as IBM, Accenture, Unisys, and HP, Microsoft will also seek to actively cooperate with more partners in this field.
