1. Data Using Access in Word

2. Select the rows and columns of the data to be output.

3. Click "Save As/export" in the "file" menu.

4. Select "Save as an external file or database" and click "OK.

5. in the "Save type" box, select a format for the output data. To create a document that maintains the original data format, click "RTF format". To create a common text file, to use as a mail merge data source, click the "Microsoft Word merge file" button on the toolbar, as shown in figure 4.



6. In the "file name" box, specify the file name of the new document.

7. If you want to save the document in RTF format and enable Word to open it immediately, select the "auto start" check box.

9. Click the "Export" command to complete the output. In this way, the Access data import is automatically completed in the Word document.

2. Import Word text files to Microsoft Access

1. Save the file as a text file separated by commas (,) or separated by tabs in Word.

2. Switch to MicrosoftAccess and open a new or existing database.

3. Click the "table" tab in the "Database" window.

4. Point to the "get external data" command in the "file" menu, and click "import ".

5. Click the "text file" command in the "file type" box.

6. In the "file name" box, enter the name of the text file to be imported.
