Access is an important member of Office components whose primary function is the management and application of databases. Open an Access table in Word

If you want to convert a table in access to a file format that you can read in Word so that you can use Word for processing, there are 3 ways to do this:

First, the use of the Clipboard

In Access, open the table you want to convert and query. Drag the mouse pointer over the row selector for the selected record (at the left end of the window, when the mouse pointer is positioned over it, you can select a set of records; Drag the mouse pointer over the field selector for the selected field (at the top of the window, the mouse pointer changes to the arrow in the downward direction when the mouse cursor is positioned over it). You can select a group of fields, and when you click the intersection of the field selector and row selector in the upper-left corner, you can select All records or select all the fields. When you have selected one of the above 3 scenarios, click Copy on the toolbar to copy the selection to the Clipboard. Then you can copy the Access table or query results into a Word table by opening Word and clicking Paste on the toolbar. If you feel that the dark shading table you are copying has a visual effect, you can select the row, perform the Borders and Shading command under the Format menu, and then select Shading * No fill.

Second, export as RTF file

In Access, open the table or query results that you want to convert, select File * Export, and specify save type as Rich Text Format. In Word, execute the Open command under the File menu or press the Open button on the toolbar directly. In the Open dialog box that pops up, click the Drop-down list next to file type to designate it as rich Text format and find the previously saved RTF file double-click to open it.

Three, insert the database directly

In Word, click the View * toolbar, select Database (or right-click on the menu bar or toolbar in the Word window, select Database in the shortcut menu that pops up), and open the table or query results in Access in Word, and click the newly added database * "Insert Database" * "Database" * "Get Data", designate the file type as "MS Access database", select a table or query in a database file, and then click Insert Data.

Import a table from Word into Access

In Word, you can easily edit the tables that access transforms, and then re-import the processed tables into Access. There are 2 ways you can use data from a Word table in Access.

On the one hand, through the clipboard. The method is to select several rows or columns of the table in Word (of course, you can also click Paste on the toolbar to copy the table data after you click Copy on the toolbar and then open the table in Access or query results by clicking the Select tool in the upper-left corner of the table, selecting all the data in the table.

On the other hand, a text file is used as a transition. Users can do this in two steps: Step, convert a table in Word to a plain text file, and in the second step, import a text file into Access. The way to do this is to select the table in Word, to do this: the table is converted to text, and then the file "*" is saved as "*" Save type * "Plain text", which is executed sequentially in Access: file gets the external data import, and the file type is specified as a text file.

Import Access data in Excel

There are 3 ways to import a table or query from Access into Excel.

First, use the clip.

This is done in the same way that you exported it to a Word table.

Exporting Access data to Excel files

To do this: Select a table or query in Access, execute the file * Export command, designate save type as Microsoft excel97-2000, and double-click the file directly in Excel to open it.

Open directly in Excel

The action method is executed sequentially: Data Get External Data New database query (because this feature is not included in a typical installation, you will be prompted to install when you first use it), in the Select Data Source dialog box that opens later, specify "new data source" as "MSAccess datebase".

Import an Excel worksheet into Access

Using Excel's convenient automatic input function and powerful data processing capabilities to handle the data imported by access, and then convert it into an Access file, is undoubtedly the most used method in actual work.

Importing an Excel file in Access is the same as importing a text file, as long as you execute it in Access: The file gets the external data import, and the file type is specified as Microsoft Excel. Of course, you can do this by using a quick and easy clipboard (the same way you would import a Word table into an Access table).

Convert an Access file to an HTML document

To convert an Access file to an HTML document (a hypermedia document), you can select "file" in Access to export the * "Save type" * "HTML document." You can use Microsoft FrontPage or another Web page editing software to open the document for editing changes.

As with importing text files and Excel file methods, to import HTML documents in Access, you can specify "file type" as "HTML Document" by executing the file to obtain an external data import.

Data sharing between different access files

If you create a new table that is the same as some fields or parts of a table that already exists, it is obvious that you can increase your productivity by sharing data from an existing table. The shared table can be either in the same database as the new table or not in the same database. There are 3 ways to share the details:

First, the use of the Clipboard

In the Database window, right-click the table or query that you want to back up, select Copy on the shortcut menu, select Paste command when you need to copy, select Paste only structure, structure and data, or append data to an existing table as needed. "" Of course, you can also open a table or query that you want to convert, directly select a portion of the record or part of the field, and copy it to another table or query.

Second, directly import Access objects

The steps are: file Get External Data import, specify "file type" as "Microsoft Access", so you can import objects from the current database or other databases.

Iii. use of linked tables

The shared operation of the linked table is similar to the following: file gets the external Data link table, specifies "file type" as "Microsoft Access," and then links it in after finding the appropriate table. The difference is that the data from the linked table changes synchronously with the original table data, and the import does not.

In fact, when you use linked tables, when you specify file types as Microsoft Excel, text file, or HTML document, you can import the files into Access separately, and the data in the imported table changes as the original data changes.
