You can directly modify the sqlnet. ora file under $ OREACLE_HOME/network/admin and add the following content:

Tcp. validnode_checking = yes

# Ip addresses allowed for access

Tcp. invited_nodes = (ip1, ip2 ,......)

# Ip addresses not allowed for access

Tcp. excluded_nodes = (ip1, ip2 ,......)

After modifying sqlnet. ora, restart the listener service and the changes will take effect.

If an IP client cannot be connected, the following error occurs:

ERROR: ORA-12537: TNS: Connection closed

This method can be used within the LAN behind the firewall to restrict access to Client IP addresses at the Oracle network layer.
