# Ip addresses allowed for access
Tcp. invited_nodes = (ip1, ip2 ,......)
# Ip addresses not allowed for access
Tcp. excluded_nodes = (ip1, ip2 ,......)
After modifying sqlnet. ora, restart the listener service and the changes will take effect.
If an IP client cannot be connected, the following error occurs:
ERROR: ORA-12537: TNS: Connection closed
This method can be used within the LAN behind the firewall to restrict access to Client IP addresses at the Oracle network layer.
