Database Basics-Transaction

Transaction processing technology mainly includes database recovery technology and concurrency control technology.

Transaction

Definition: A user-defined collection of database operations. Transactions are the basic unit of data recovery and concurrency control.

Characteristics: ACID. Atomicity (atomicity), consistency (consistency), isolation (isolation), durability (durability)

1. atomicity. These operations are either all executed or not executed at all.

2. Consistency. The result of a transaction is that it changes from one consistent state to another consistent state.

3. Isolation. Execution of one transaction cannot be disturbed by other transactions.

4. Continuity, also known as permanence. A transactional commit, the change to the data in the database is permanent.
