DB2 database startup failure Solution

When the DB2 database is started, errors may occur sometimes. The following describes the causes of the failure of the two DB2 databases and provides a solution, which is helpful to you.

(1) SQL1032N has not issued a command to start the Database Manager. SQLSTATE = 57019.

Solution:

Enter c: \ document and settings \ username \ db2licm-l

Check whether the DB2License expires. My instance has not expired.

Second, view the system log.

The DB2CTLSV-0 service failed to log on with. \ sxm with the currently configured password because of the following error:

Logon Failed: Unknown user name or wrong password.

The reason may be that the password of the sxm user is changed back to the original password.

(2) The above SQL1032N error occurs when the instance is started. The DB2-DB0 service cannot be started in windows NT Service, and the prompt is:

Error 1069, Logon Failure error.

This error is simple. It is caused by an incorrect user name or password used to start the service. In service properties, select the login tab, select the user, and fill in the password to restart the service.

Summary: This generally happens when you change the login user or the password of A DB2 user.
