DB2 Database Restore

1, build a database such as test, built when the codepage set to the target backup codepage consistent, such as: 437

2, then back up the newly built database, after the successful backup, the 20141127 directory is deleted, and then the original backup good such as 20141120 of the entire copy to the directory

3, right-click the database, and then pop-up restore ....

Select list of directries or taps: for example C: (Browse ..., direct input all can)

Select the date (timestamp) time to back up the file name. 001 the same as before.

Then OK

After restoring the database, click the database to report the following error:

4, there is no available conversion for the source code page "1386" to the target code page "437".  Reason Code "1". sqlstate=57017

Increase Db2codepage 437

This step was done before 3 because the error was encountered, so it was restored.

Then after the restore succeeds,

5, A connection to or activation of the database "TEST" cannot be made because of Roll-forward PENDING. sqlstate=57019

This problem, I guess, is because I made an online incremental backup of the database, after a period of time, with this incremental backup to restore, so that an ID number in the data and the ID number in the log does not correspond to (incomplete data), so the database cannot be opened , you need to use an online log to roll forward the data before you can open the database by unifying the ID number (keeping the data intact).

DB2 Rollforward DB TEST to end of logs and stop

To this database restore OK, I also on the Internet to check a lot of ways to change codepage, non-resistant one is not successful, engage in DB2 service can not start, only re-install DB2.
