I. Hardware connection method

◆ Shut down the computer and isdn ta power supply, connect the needle connector of RS-232 cable with the "RS-232" interface on the back board of isdn ta, fasten the screw; the other end of the cable is connected to the RS-232 serial port of the computer.

◆ Connect one end of the RJ-11 telephone line to the entry line of the ISDN terminal equipment, and the other end to the "U" interface on the back board of the isdn ta, the "S/T" interface on the backboard of the isdn ta can be used to connect digital phones, four types of fax machines, and other digital devices.

◆ Using RJ-11 line to connect analog equipment, such as ordinary analog telephone, telephone answering machine, three types of fax machine, modem and other equipment, connected to the slot marked with ANA1 or ANA2.

◆ Connect one end of the power supply to the PWR slot on the rear panel of isdn ta, and connect the other end to the power supply.

◆ Enable the isdn ta power supply. When the machine starts self-testing, the DATA light, K light, ANA1 light, And ANA2 light will all turn on and off, and then the four lights will turn on again and again, if all the self-check tests are OK, all of them will be dark. Now you can use ISDN TA.

◆ Power on your computer and install the driver. This process is simple, just follow the prompts.

2. Software Configuration of ISDN Terminal Equipment

To access the Internet through isdn ta, You need to configure the "Dial-Up Network" for Windows 95/98. The procedure is as follows:

◆ Install network protocols

Install network components in "network" of "Control Panel. Make sure that the "dial-up network adapter" and "TCP/IP" protocols are installed.

◆ Configure the dial-up Network

Double-click "my computer" on the desktop, open "Dial-Up Network", double-click "New Connection", enter the connection name, and select the modem as the corresponding ISDN terminal device. Click "Next" and enter the phone number of the recipient. In the next window, click "Next" and then click "finish ". Now, the dial-up network is configured, and a new connection will be added to the "Dial-Up Network" to access the Internet.
