Deb package installation-Linux Release Technology-Debian information, the following is a detailed description. Deb is the installation format of debian linus, which is similar to red hat's rpm.

Install: sudo dpkg-I file. deb

Reverse installation: sudo dpkg-r package_name

The ZjrLinux Alliance does not need to install the dpkg package. It can also use software such as alien to convert the package into rpm or another format, or directly use the next rpm or tar package.

How to convert a deb package to rpm:

Sudo apt-get install alien # alien is not installed by default, so install it first.

Sudo alien xxxx. rpm # convert rpm to deb. After the conversion, a xxxx. deb with the same name is generated.

Sudo dpkg-I xxxx. deb # installation.
