Recently, When I installed something in the Ubuntu Software Center, a window running on Ubuntu & rdquo; Debconf always pops up, and will not respond quickly, the progress bar of the installation or uninstallation will also get stuck for a long time. After the installation is finished, a prompt will be displayed, such as & rdquo; software installation/uninstallation failure & ldquo. I found some things and didn't find a solution. I planned to switch to apt-get for installation. However, the following message is displayed: & ldquo; one software package has not been fully installed or uninstalled. & rdquo

Recently, When I installed something in the Ubuntu Software Center, a window "Debconf running on Ubuntu" always pops up, and will not respond quickly, and the progress bar for installation or uninstallation will also get stuck for a long time, after the final process is completed, a message such as "failed to install/uninstall the software" will be prompted.

I found some things and didn't find a solution. I planned to switch to apt-get for installation. However, the system prompts "a software package has not been fully installed or uninstalled", and tries to connect edelivery.Oracle.com every time you use the apt-get command. After a long wait, the link times out. The following message is output:

Oracle JDK 7 is NOT installed.
Dpkg: Error Handling oracle-java7-installer (-- configure:
The sub-process has installed the post-installation script and Returns Error 1.
An error occurred during processing:
Oracle-java7-installer

So I guess the two "gets stuck" should be the same reason. And the error is displayed as a oracle-java7-installer, so it should be the error when openjdk 7 was installed in the ubuntu Software Center (I don't know what the reason is ), so you just need to delete all jdk items ~

Then, enter the new software package manager, search for jdk by name, and delete the installed software package (if you are not sure which one is deleted, just reinstall it ). (This is already after re-installation)

And then there will be no problems when we install things again.
