Debian 7 Install the Input method and configure the small crane double spell

The latest version of Debian has been 7.2, code-named Wheezy, (version of the Emperor Chrome has been out to 31), to be able to do the day-to-day use of Linux, Chinese input method is sure to install. Previously used is ibus-rime, but only in the unstable source, in the stable system installation is more trouble, need to change the source, a bunch of dependent packages need to upgrade, and Debian 7.2 has upgraded the Python version, rime can not use, toss a little fruit, Although Rime is a very useful input method, many input methods, but can not be done, had to give up, and then chose the Fcitx, the famous penguin.

Fcitx Input method has pinyin, also provides several kinds of double spell, but I have been accustomed to the small crane double spell, so try to be able to add a small crane in the FCITX schema, after a modification finally succeeded, the steps to write down the memo.

1, configure sources.list, after installing Debian first thing is to modify the installation source, I now use the source of the USTC, 163 of the source is not very stable, a while ago has not been connected. Modify the source and remember to update, this is my first learning Linux often forget things.

sudo apt-get update

2. The newly installed Debian system does not have Chinese fonts and needs to be manually installed by itself:

sudo apt-get install Xfonts-intl-chinese wqy*

3. Installation Fcitx

sudo apt-get install FCITX fcitx-pinyin

4. Install Input Method Configuration tool

sudo apt-get install Im-config

Or install the Im-switch can also, install the reboot.

5, run Im-config and select the Input method fcitx

6, a new blank document, Ctrl+shift see if you can switch out of FCITX, if not, remove FCITX after reinstalling, after installation, remember to restart the computer.

sudo apt-get--purge fcitx

sudo apt-get install FCITX

7, Run FCITX config Tool,input Method window should have a shuangpin, point the bottom line of the fifth button, here is a problem, do not know what reason five button icons can not be displayed. Then select "Default shuangpin Schema" as "User Defined" in the pop-up window, OK.

8, run the command in the terminal sudo mousepad/usr/share/fcitx/pinyin/sp.dat, according to the format of the configuration file, a new program named User defined, will be the small crane double spell keys settings written in, save. It should be ready to use after reboot.
