Debian platform Nomachine cannot be connected after installing configuration

Installed again today under the Debian platform, the installation configuration is not a problem, but the client cannot link.

1 installation under the Debian platform

Download the Deb package directly from the official website.

[Email protected]:~$ sudo wget http://download.nomachine.com/download/4.4/Linux/nomachine_4.4.6_7_amd64.deb

// then install:

[Email protected]:~$ sudo dpkg-inomachine_4.4.6_7_amd64.deb

Once installed, you can view it directly in Debian's gnome.

The latest version has 2 differences from previous versions of Nomachine:

(1) The default port is changed to 4000.

(2) There is only one installation file, and the server and client are installed by default.

This can be confirmed directly from Gnome:

From the GUI, it can be seen that the port can be directly configured, starting from the boot and other information.

2 Remote Connection

In my machine's Win7 platform to connect Debian, the results found unable to connect, did not report any errors, at first suspected port problems, modify the port is not yet, because it is the Debian system, I uninstalled the firewall directly, so also ruled out the firewall factors.

After a long day, only to find that the original ends of the Nomachine version is not the same. A low version of Nomachine does not properly connect to a higher version of Nomachine.

After reinstalling the Win7 Nomachine, the connection is normal.
