Debian4.x drive my wireless network adapter-Linux Release Technology-Debian information. For more information, see below. I did not write blogs recently, but I did not encounter something worth writing. It was not until yesterday that I installed debian on a small version that I found that non-intel Wireless NICs had no driver by default. Search online and find the madwifi driver to be installed. The process is omitted for 4 hours. Focus directly.

Edit the source address file/etc/apt/sources. list

Join
# Sarge Backports
Deb http://www.backports.org/debian sarge-backports non-free

Run
$ Su
# Apt-get update
# Apt-get install madwifi-source
# Apt-get install madwifi-tools
# M-a prepare
# M-a-I madwifi
# Modprobe ath_pci

A large number of software will be downloaded during the process. Patience. If the download fails in the middle step. Redo.

After the installation is complete, the wireless NIC will appear in the status zone.
