Default path for installing software in the Software Center of ubuntu 11.10

In ubuntu 11.10, there is a software center. Software installed in the Software Center will be automatically downloaded and installed. You did not select the path option during installation.

My eclipse is to install the software directly in the Software Center, but later I want to add the plug-in to it, but I cannot find the path. After searching, I finally figured out what was going on.

Location where my eclipse is stored after installation:

1. executable files. The system is installed in the path/usr/bin by default.

Second, the configuration file. The system stores the eclipse configuration file in the path of/etc.

Third: other files and folders. The system stores other resources or plug-ins used in/usr/share.

 

There are three folders under the/usr/share/eclipse path: dropins, features, and Plugins.
