Delete a specified value in the cyclic STL container, and the iterator fails to process

Source: Internet
Author: User

This article is based on the C ++ standard library p232

Void erasemapitem ()
{
Typedef STD: Map <STD: String, float> stringfloatmap;
Stringfloatmap Coll;
Stringfloatmap: iterator Pos;

For (Pos = Coll. Begin (); pos! = Coll. End ();)
{
If (value = pos-> second ))
{
Coll. Erase (Pos ++ );
}
Else
{
++ Pos;
}
}
}

Code explanation:

Pos ++ moves the position of the POs one after it returns a copy of its original value. When the erase is executed, the POs no longer points to the original element to be removed.

This solution applies to all containers, such as vector, map, and list.
