Most brand computers now have one-click restoration. The Restoration content is stored in the hidden partition of the EISA configuration. General software cannot operate on it to ensure the security of partition and system restoration. Such a feature is a chicken fault for some people who do not use one-click restoration (I am the author), and it is extremely uncomfortable to look at the waste of hard drives with several capacities.
One tool: diskpart.exe.
About the diskpart command: This utility enables storage configuration from scripts, remote sessions, or other command prompts. Diskpart enhances the graphic user interface (GUI) of the Disk Manager ).
The following describes how to delete hidden partitions configured by Eisa.
1: Start the command prompt (START-> soProgram-> Attachment-> command prompt-> right-click and select Run as administrator, and enter "Export diskpart.exe" (without quotation marks, the same below). Press enter.
2: After the diskpart is run, it will be transferred to the diskpart prompt, enter the "Rescan" command and press enter to scan the hard disk configuration.
3: Enter "list disk" and press enter to display the disk list.
4: Enter the "select disk number" (for example, "selectdisk 0") and press enter to hide the disk where the partition is located.
5: Enter the "List partitions" command and press enter to display the partition of the selected disk.
6: Enter the select partition Partition Number (for example, select partition 2) and press enter to hide the Partition Number.
7. Enter Delete partition override to delete hidden partitions.
Enable disk management to allocate a drive letter and format the partition, and then use or merge it into other partitions.
This operation is not very difficult. However, it is recommended that users with experience in doscommand Operations perform operations.
