Delete discarded domain metadata

1. Open the "command prompt ". 2. Type: Ntdsutil 3. Under the ntdsutil command, type: Metadata cleanup 4. Under the metadata cleanup command, type: Connection 5. Under the connection command, type: Connect to server Server 6. Under the connection command, type: Quit 7. Under the metadata cleanup command, type: Select Operation target 8. Under the Select Operation target command, type: List sites 9. A list of sites arranged by number is displayed. Type: Select site sitenumber 10. Under the Select Operation target command, type: List domains in Site 11. The list of fields sorted by number in the selected site is displayed. Type: Select domain domainnumber Quit 12. Under the metadata cleanup command, type: Remove selected domain
