Delete the Ubuntu startup item in a dual-system (Windows and Ubuntu ).
Problem Overview: When I learned Linux, I deleted a kernel driver of Ubuntu according to the online tutorial, which made Ubuntu unable to start. The solution I came up with was to reinstall the system. The first step to reinstall the system was to uninstall Ubuntu from the computer. This note is about how to delete the Ubuntu startup Item.
Tools used: Windows10, Ubuntu16.04 LTS, and easyBCD.
Procedure:
1. Go to easyBCD in Windows and select "BCD deployment ".
2. view the "edit boot menu" and delete the Ubuntu option. There is only Windows 10 left in the entry column, select "yes" as the default column, and save the settings as needed.
3. After the settings are complete, the computer automatically enters Windows after restart, that is, the settings are successful.
