When using SVN, we usually make it remember the user name and password. In some cases, we need to change the user name and password, however, SVN or eclipse/myeclipse do not provide a user name and password change control, which requires manual operations. In fact, it is to delete the svn file that saves the user name and password. The next time you use SVN again, you will be prompted to enter the user name and password.
In different operating systems, the operation is similar. First, let's take a look at how to operate in windows.
Take win7 as an Example
1. Go to the C:/users/[your username]/appdata/Roaming/subversion/auth directory and delete all files under the directory;
2. Restart Eclipse/myeclipse. If you submit the svn file, you will be prompted to enter the user name and password.
Take Mac OS X as an example (Unix/Linux is similar ),
1. Open the command line window, that is, the user's root directory (user's home directory)
$ LS-Al
...
Drwxr-XR-x 6 linxyz staff 204 2 15. Subversion
... $ Cd. subversion/auth/$ Rm-r-F-D * 2. Restart Eclipse/myeclipse, submit or update the svn file, and you will be prompted to enter the user name and password.
