Robert 'psybers 'dyer provides an excellent solution for cracking-use the blacklist in the message menu.
Delete entries in the Ubuntu message menu
First, create a directory:
Mkdir-p ~ /. Config/indicators/messages/applications-blacklist/
Create a symbolic connection for the indicator application configuration. The configuration file is:
/Usr/share/indicators/messages/applications
For example, to block Evolution, you only need:
Ln-s/usr/share/indicators/messages/applications/evolution ~ /. Config/indicators/messages/applications-blacklist/evolution
Then restart the indicator Applet and the Evolution will be gone.
