The information under "E -mail Alerts" (email alerts) within the Web-based interface allows you to select which events are to be sent e-mail alerts based on the severity of the event. Select the severity of the temperature, voltage, fan, or other sensor to generate an e-mail alert in the event of this condition.
You can specify three severity:"informational" (notification)(minimum severity),"Warning" (Warning)(medium severity), and "Severe" (Critical) (highest severity). The alert will be sent to the e-mail address that you typed in the email Alerts (e-mail alert) . For information about the individual e-mail alert severity types, see table 5-4.
Table 5-4. Email alert severity

- "System temperature Sensors" (temperature sensor)-monitors the system temperature sensor.
- "System Voltage Sensors" (systems voltage Sensor) -monitors the system voltage sensor.
- System Fan Sensors -monitor system fan speed (RPM).
- "System Miscellaneous Sensors" (Other sensor systems)-monitors other available sensors on the system, such as chassis intrusion.
If the event is triggered by reaching the severity level you selected in the Left check box on the window, a specific alert ("informational" (notification),"Warning" (warning) , or "Severe" (critical) will be issued ).
