I. Background of the project

The elevator configuration of the basic teaching building of Shijiazhuang Railway University is as follows: The building has 18 floors, 4 elevators, many passengers use these elevators daily (passenger weight: Average 70 kg max 120 kg, Min. 45 kg). Other constant data: elevator speed, open/close time, passenger time to be in/out of the elevator. Can be justified on these assumptions.

Second, the actual investigation

Basic teaching building a total of four elevators, a total of 18 floors, elevators are only available on the 8-18 floor. There are two elevators only stop single-layer, two only stop double-decker. From the first floor directly to the 18 floor requires 45-50 seconds between the average speed of about 2m/s. No operation when the elevator door open for 7-8 seconds, someone is the case the elevator door switch time is about 15s. The actual load capacity of the elevator is 15 people.

Three, the algorithm idea

Elevators are divided into two groups, one set of odd-numbered layers, and one set of stops. For low-peak time periods, elevators can be stopped at any single double-decker. For peak periods, elevators can be divided into stairs and downstairs peaks. For the stairs, the elevator only accepts requests to go upstairs and does not stop at full, and once no one rides or reaches the top floor, it returns to the first floor and accepts requests downstairs. Similarly, for the downstairs peak, the elevator only accepts requests downstairs, and in full to make no stop, once no one rides or arrives at the first floor, and accepts downstairs request.
