Next, we will deploy the local exchange first. It is very easy to deploy exchange in a clean single-domain environment. Here we will deploy two CAS servers for NLB, two mailbox servers are used as the Dag, and an edge server is added. The reverse proxy is assumed by TMG. the preparations we made earlier are different based on the installed roles, this should be taken into account. Today we will deploy two CAS servers first. System Requirements

First, not all servers can install exchange 2013. exchane 2013 does not support installation in server core. If it is 2008, it must be completely installed. If it is server 2012, it can be converted through powershell.

Exchange 2013 requires that the lowest version of the server operating system be Windows Server 2008 R2. Note that it must be a datacenter version. If it is a standard and Enterprise Edition, it must be patched with SP1, in addition, if it is Windows Server 2012r2, you must install exchange 2013 SP1 or a later version. If the server side is exchange 2013, the outlook on the client does not support version 2003, which must be known.

Preparation in advance

For Windows Server 2012 (R2), three preparation steps are required to install exchange.
