Deploying Remote Desktop Services

Microsoft introduces RDS (Remote Desktop Services), where administrators centrally deploy applications on RDS servers to provide access to users in a virtualized way, and users no longer have to install applications on their own computers. When a user calls an application on an RDS server on a remote desktop, it is like running on his or her own computer, but actually uses the resources of the server, even when the user's computer is configured low, without replacing the computer, saving the cost of the enterprise and reducing maintenance costs and complexity.

The RDS service is divided into terminal and central server, and central server provides service and resources for terminal.

Terminal

Thin Client: A small computer that does not have high-speed CPUs and large-capacity memory, has no hard disk, uses a small, hardened operating system, and uses the server's compute and storage resources over the network.

PC: A personal computer that enables the PC to connect and use the compute and storage resources of the server by installing and running the Terminal emulator.

mobile phone Terminal: A mobile phone wireless network transceiver terminal short, including the transmitter (mobile), receiver (network server).
