Deploying the WIN8 system using MDT2013 nine-capturing system mirroring through MDT deployment

In the previous blog post, we captured the template machine for a WIM image, which is the operating system image we want to deploy to the client, and we first need to import it into the operating systems node

Right-click on the Operating Systems node and select "Import Operating Systems"

From the Task Sequence tab, expand Preinstall-"New computer Only"-"Format and Partition Disk"

You can see that the current partitioning method is to divide the entire hard disk into a partition, we delete the current partition mode, and then click the New button, we customize the first partition

Partition Type (partition Type): Improved in MDT2012, here can only select Primary (primary partition), used to know the previous version of the Friends, although it is possible to split the partition and logical partition, but once the logical partition of the deployment is definitely an error

Use specific size (use a specific size): System partition we define 20GB

Make this a boot partition (This is a boot partition): The first partition must be checked, or the system will not boot

File System (File System): NTFS and FAT32 can be selected

Now we can see that two partitions are created, and in the future the company's new computers can choose this task sequence for deployment, and the client will be partitioned according to the partitioning settings in this task sequence before deployment.

The previous partition settings are mainly for the new computer installed, and now you need to consider a situation, is now to deploy the system is not a new installation, but just upgrade the installation, users do not want to delete the data on the hard disk, then what to do? When the task sequence properties are opened after creation, you need to switch to the Options tab and tick "Disable This step", which means that the procedure is disabled, which means that the system is not re-partitioned so that the data on the hard disk is still
