I,ArcGIS Server installation overview

The Installation Process of ArcGIS Server includes two parts: Installation and post installation. To complete the installation of ArcGIS Server, you need to use the Windows operating system tool to manually set some steps:

In this installation scheme, the Server Object Manager (Som) And the server object container (SOC) Is installed on a machine. These installation components are pre-selected in the installer.

3.Overview of post-installation settings

UseArcGIS Server must be set after installation. You can set it after the initial installation or after running the installation later, starting from the Start Program ArcGIS> ArcGIS Server Post installation.

The ArcGIS Server account runs the Server Object Manager (SOM) services and processes. This process manages the container processes on the container machine (container machines) and the configuration log files of ArcGIS Server.

ArcGIS container account is the account of the container Process Management Server Object. The container process is started by the Server Object Manager (SOM), but runs as An ArcGIS container account.

The ArcGIS Server account and ArcGIS container account can be a local account or domain account. We recommend that you use a local account.

If the local account does not exist, it will be created after setup. If you specify a domain account, these accounts must already exist.
