Dag NIC Configuration
The purpose of configuring a DAG is to enhance the high availability of the mail server, preventing mail system users from accessing the mailbox after a mailbox server is damaged.
When configuring a DAG, the mailbox server preferably has two network cards, one for the production environment, and another for replication between Dags.
Before you create a DAG, first verify that all Exchange servers are part of the Exchange Trusted subsystem Group

Dag NICs do not need to configure DNS and gateways. A DAG Nic is required for each machine

Witness server Configuration
It is generally recommended that you add the group "Exchange Trusted Subsystem" to the local Administrators group of the witness when you use the CAS server as the DAG witness and select non-Exchange Server role members (except for the Edge Transport server) as the witness server. Doing so will cause an error creating the DAG, this article chooses the DC as the witness
BEN650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image010 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" clip_image010 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/84/47/ Wkiom1elwf7gnh4raacbtmf36p0321.jpg "" 395 "height=" 484 "/>
Create Dag
Open any Exchange server, open the EMC Management Console----Organization configuration----mailbox, and switch from the middle pane to the Database Availability Group tab. In the blank, right-click New Database Availability Group, which appears as shown in the interface:
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image012 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" clip_image012 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/84/47/wKiom1eLWf_ Xpjbfaadhvlq-bsq375.jpg "" 644 "height=" 381 "/>
Enter the name of the DAG here, specify the name of the DAG, the witness server as the witness directory
(Note: Witness This witness directory is not required to be created manually, the DAG will be automatically created and shared after the completion of the addition of the staff)
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image014 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" clip_image014 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/84/47/ Wkiol1elwgdybdbdaadk7euslgw970.jpg "" 591 "height=" 484 "/>
The warning can be ignored because in the first step we have joined the Exchange trusted subsystem group to the local Administrators group of the domain controller and click Finish, then the DAG is created successfully
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image016 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" clip_image016 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/84/47/ Wkiom1elwggbwmjyaadarc6qoig354.jpg "" 585 "height=" 484 "/>
In the completion interface, you can see the corresponding command line. Below we need to set the cluster IP address of the DAG by right-clicking the "Properties"---the newly created DAG name to the "IP Address" tab and adding it. As shown in the following:
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image018 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" clip_image018 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/84/47/ Wkiom1elwggiqgw0aac0k1kxowm842.jpg "" 462 "height=" 484 "/>
Add the Database Availability group IP address, click OK, but now we have no members in our DAG group, and we need to continue to add members to the DAG, that is, to join the Exchange MBX server to the availability group. On the new DAG name, right-click Manage Database Availability group memberships, and then add ex01 and ex02. As shown in the following:
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image020 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" clip_image020 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/84/47/ Wkiom1elwgkik7sgaadtlmtsoda700.jpg "" 644 "height=" 385 "/>

When you click on "Manage", you need to wait a moment, because the system joins the member and also needs to install the Windows Failover Cluster service on the member machine
Here's how to add a database high Availability group member in the Exchange Management shell by using a command method
Add-databaseavailabilitygroupserver-identity Cqdag-mailboxserver CQEXDAG01
Add-databaseavailabilitygroupserver-identity Cqdag-mailboxserver cqexdag02
650) this.width=650; "title=" clip_image024 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" clip_image024 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/84/47/ Wkiom1elwgtjcl3eaadr1d_durs585.jpg "" 586 "height=" 484 "/>
After adding the DAG member, we come to the domain controller's C drive and verify that the witness directory is automatically created and shared

Next, looking at the resources in the failover cluster, we can open failover Cluster Manager on any of the Exchange servers where we can see that the cluster name is the DAG01.lsx.com we specified in the DAG deployment. Two nodes in the cluster are in a healthy state.
