ZTE divides the entire system into multiple parts, including the data bearer network system and the NGN voice system. The bearer network is the basis of the NGN system, the NGN voice system is the core application of communication networks. It also covers the business and other supporting system design solutions.

Each access device provides a redundant backup link to the core device, and the core device is used as the master and backup devices. Three ZXR10 T1200 telecom-grade high-end routers are used as Core routing devices, two are used for voice services at the access layer, and the other is used as the core router for ADSL data services, provides the egress for the global Internet service to connect to the public IP address of the carrier.
38 ZXR10 access switches are used for AG access in eight data centers and 10 IP address telephone access. Each AG is uplinked with four access switches, two of which are connected to the speech service, one master and one slave. The other two data access switches are connected to the ADSL data service, the IP telephone access switch is directly connected to the core router, which physically isolates the voice service from the ADSL data service at the access layer of the bearer network, ensuring the security and reliability of the voice service.
The NGN voice system adopts a fully-IP-based softswitch network architecture. In this network architecture, the core control layer uses large-capacity Softswitch control devices: ZXSS10 SS1b, and a single set of devices can support a maximum of 6 million users; in this project, each of the two ZXSS1b hardware configurations can support 50 thousand voice users (the hardware itself can actually support 0.1 million AG voice users), and each software license has 16 thousand users;
At the same time, two sets of MSG9000 are configured for the large-capacity relay/signaling gateway (MSG9000 supports a maximum of 0.336 million medium-level connections). The MSG9000 configured in this period supports PRI and 7 signaling, 32 KB and 32 PRI signals are configured, and 64E1 is configured;
For access layer devices used to simulate user and DSL user access, ZTE MSG5200 is adopted. This device can support normal and reverse polarity analog users and broadband access users such as ADLSL2 + and VDSL2, ZTE MSG5200 supports the self-switching function. In case of connection failure between the access layer network element node and the control layer node, the internal communication of voice users is completed independently.
