Description and solution of an error occurred while reading the SD card computer but the camera was readable

Hardware environment: Camera: eos550d COMPUTER: Lenovo g460 SD card: 16 GB Kingston sdhccard
Software environment: Computer: win7-32 bit

Description: When the SD card is placed in the camera, you can take a photo and delete the photo. When the SD card is placed in the SD slot of the computer, the system can display the drive letter of the SD card, but the capacity is 0, and the prompt is displayed automatically to re-format, as shown in figure 1; click "format disk, in the dialog box shown in figure 2, regardless of the settings (including file system format, allocation unit size, and quick formatting), "Windows cannot complete formatting" is displayed, as shown in figure 3.

Fault analysis:
1. the SD card can run normally in the camera, indicating that the SD card is good.
2. the SD card cannot run properly on the computer, possibly because the driver is not installed, the card slot hardware is faulty, and the SD card format system is not compatible. Because the system can be read normally before and is not reinstalled, the driver is not installed. The hardware fault of the card slot is not considered for the moment, and the remaining is that the SD card format system is not compatible.
3. the SD card Formatting Function is available in the camera menu, which is one of many formats recognized by the camera. Select format from the camera menu, as shown in Figure 4. The formatting page is displayed, as shown in Figure 5:

Solution:
1. Put the SD card into the camera
2. Connect the camera and computer with the external wiring of miniusb-USB, and start the camera
3. Enter the camera from the computer, as shown in figure 6.
4. In the pop-up SD card drive letter window, right-click the mouse and select "format (a)..." from the pop-up menu, as shown in figure 7. After you click OK in the displayed dialog box, figure 8 is displayed when the formatting is complete. Note that you need to move your mouse to the SD card and display the dcim and MISC folders. This means that the windows identifiable SD card file system is written normally.
5. Now, the SD card can be recognized by the computer. Turn off the camera, remove the SD card, and put it into the card slot of the computer's multiple-in-One Card Reader. The identified SD card is displayed, as shown in figure 9.
