  3, NetEase ued is also a well-known team in the industry now, can you introduce its structure and situation? By the way, what's your role in the team?

A: The design center of NetEase dissolved in 2012, now the UED team is subordinate to each business team. Our ued team had interactive, visual, research three different positions, according to different lines of business and divided into four groups, each team has a master designer, responsible for and business side interface work.

My work at that time was mainly divided into four areas: first, the overall project progress of management designers, the second is the construction of the professional (will pay attention to some of the new concepts and methods of the industry, and then try to apply in our project, we will open a professional meeting), the third is the recruitment; Frankly speaking, I was just beginning to manage at that time, there is no experience, do not very good, more is a "Manager" state, not "Leader", and my executive strength is not strong enough to contribute to the business is not enough, and the business team's sense of integration is not stronger. Until then, Ali, the management of the design team has a more profound understanding.

  3, as the founder and manager of NetEase ued team, what do you think an excellent leader should be?

A: In the past when NetEase, always feel that the design team to manage the line, not too much to consider how to better and products grow together, do things more out of their own interest. Now I will think of a qualified leader, can not only focus on their own team, to look at the entire business, and even the entire company. Don't think of yourself as a housekeeper (manger), but as a master (Leader) (of course, the company's environment, innovative companies will need Leader talent). Ali's request to leader is "entrepreneurship, education, inheritance", which is my current requirements and goals.

  4, how do you communicate with a junior designer when you are not satisfied with the program?

A: First of all, let me know what's wrong with his plan and give him some advice. If you always change the bad, you will find a senior designer to help him change. In this process, the intentional designer will learn a lot of things and grow up quickly. But the unintentional designer may feel has nothing to do with oneself, anyway completes the task, then slowly also will be eliminated by the team.

  6, from interaction Designer to design leader, what do you think is the biggest change? How does the designer make the corresponding promotion?

A: Just do the first year of management, I was in fact very confused, do not know what to do, how to do. At that time I think there is nothing to do, the team is short, first from the recruit, so I spent a lot of energy to recruit excellent people, and then it turns out that this action is very correct, talent is the team's greatest wealth. A year later, I slowly found the manager's feeling, able to maintain and develop a 20-person team, but also is only the maintenance and development, which is far from a leader requirements in fact.

After working in Ali for over a year, I've come to understand how to find opportunities in the business team to help the business team develop better through the advantages of ued. To really create a constructive team, not just a "stability" support team, I think it's the biggest change I've ever had in my career.   7, tell me about the most depressing stage of your design career, how did you get through it?

A: I have experienced many bottlenecks in my design career, especially the more serious the bottleneck that I experienced in the later period, the longer the time. My most recent bottleneck is more than half a year, because I am faced with an unusually complex to B product, an innovative, in the exploratory period of products (no competition), the surrounding product managers are basically business or technical origin. First, the cost of product understanding is very high, the second is no one to give us demand, so for a long time I do not know what to do, how to find their own position. Recently I really walked out, I feel now I am a brand new I, in fact, my professional ability changes are not very big, more is the mentality and some way of doing things change.

  8, your blog is very productive, for so many years, what do you think writing is helpful to design? Does the designer have to learn to write?

A: To tell you the truth, I don't think I can write. At that time, I wrote a blog because I started from other people's blog to learn a lot of things, so I also want to see what I learned to share to others, and second, because I have a bad memory, summed up the ability is poor, so I need to summarize in time to help their own ascension. And now, blogging has become my habit, whenever I feel a harvest will be recorded (so if I haven't written for a long time is usually in the bottleneck), some problems even in the process of writing gradually understand. I think the designer does not have to learn to write, but the proposal to do a summary, what form can be, so for the new promotion is very helpful.

  9, many students are reading your book to learn interactive, can you talk about the process of writing books?

A: In fact, I have been very busy from the beginning to writing books, most of the time to work and study. In the 13, the team was basically on the right track, each group's main designers can also Dudangyimian, very good management of their own small projects, so at that time I have nothing to worry about. But I was a busy person, so I had the idea of writing a book. Thank you very much for my good friend Jiangchu (one of Hiued's organizers) gave me a lot of help and advice. She has a very rich training experience, repeatedly stressed that must be written simple, basic, so as to help more people, so simple, easy to understand, landing has become the biggest feature of this book.

  10, if you go back to 09, how will you plan your career?

A: In the 09, interactive design, mobile Internet, entrepreneurship and so far not as prosperous as now, so sometimes I also envy the young people now, in such a good era. 09 We do not have too many choices, for now I have no regrets and regrets, I think the past experience is the best choice.
